B'Loved Mothers - Mothers' Day Special

This Mothers' Day, we decided to share with our B'Loved Community a special post on B'Loved Mothers. Without them, there would not be the B'Loved Team. So as we celebrate our 1st Mothers' Day together as B'Loved, let us spread the joy and happiness to you too. <3

Here are some of our B'Loved Team's sharing their special moments!

• What is your fondest memory with her?
  "When i got selected to enter the final audition for an acting competition a few years back, she insisted for me to attend it despite the hefty costs she had to bare. I was really touched to have such supportive mother. She indeed puts her daughter before herself."
  
  
• One of her strengths you admire most
  "I love her resilient in working hard for the family. In my family, my dad has never been the sole breadwinner, in fact it was more of my mum. She paid for most of our expenses without complaints. She constantly find her ways to strive for the best. I love that about her."

• What is your fondest memory with her?
  "We know we don't need a special day to celebrate our moms, but since we have Mother's Day, we might as well take advantage, right? This day means something different to everyone, just like all of our mothers deserve praise for different reasons."
  
  
• One of her strengths you admire most
  "My mom is fierce, fearless, and has always marched to the beat of her own drum. She's not afraid to speak her mind even when she disagrees with anyone. She taught me by example what it means to be a strong, confident, independent woman. She takes joy in the little quirks that make us unique and showed me that it's OK to be weird. She has continued to be an excellent role model and I constantly strive to carry her grace, kindness, and generosity with me." 

• What is your fondest memory with her?
  "Growing up, my mom was always busy. As she have to constantly travel overseas for work during my childhood, quality time together was hard to come by. The airport holds a special place in my heart since that is where I have made many fond memories with my mother. I remember visiting the airport often with my family to wait for her arrival and have our dinner there. Although it isn’t anything much it is something memorable for me."
  
  
• One of her strengths you admire most
  "Something I admire about my mother is how she achieves the balance of work and family. Apart from that, she also makes it a point to check in with me and my sister on how we are doing physically and mentally. I am always told to pursue my dreams while she tries to support me" 

• What is your fondest memory with her?
  "I remember during my secondary school days, my mum and i would meet after my school ends and go for a mother daughter date, where we went shopping and cafe dates. These were my fondest memories with her as when i grow older, i hold more responsibilities and we only get to spent such time once in awhile. Hence, i treasure every moment of our free time spent together."
  
  
• One of her strengths you admire most
  "It takes a lot to be a mum. Since young i’ve been a really timid and clingy child who always stick by my mum’s side whenever possible. She would constantly tell me to learn to be independent as at the end of the day we live our own lives and we should never depend on others. She always tell me stories of her teenage years where she went to Genting alone to work. Despite being a scary journey, mum will never show that she’s afraid and independently live her life till this day. This is my mum, the person who thought me to be independent, a strength that I will always admire."
